Questions we get every week
How fast can you actually get here in an emergency?
Our GTA average is 47 minutes and we aim for under 60. For a flooding emergency we dispatch the nearest available truck immediately and the dispatcher stays on the line to walk you through shutting off the water.
Do you charge extra for evenings, weekends or holidays?
No. Our flat rates are the same at 2 p.m. on a Tuesday and 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Emergency callouts have a dispatch fee, which is disclosed before we send a truck and credited against the repair.
Is the estimate free?
For booked, non-emergency work, yes — diagnosis and quote are free and there is no obligation. Emergency callouts carry a dispatch fee because a truck is leaving immediately; that fee comes off the repair price if you go ahead.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold an Ontario plumbing contractor licence, every tech is a licensed journeyman or a supervised apprentice, and we carry $2 million general liability plus WSIB coverage. We will send copies before the visit if you ask.
What is covered by the 2-year warranty?
Workmanship and the parts we supply, for 24 months from the invoice date. If the same repair fails in that window we return at no charge for labour or parts. Fixtures you supplied yourself carry their manufacturer warranty only.
Do you handle City of Toronto backwater valve subsidies?
We do. We install to spec, pull the permit, meet the inspector and prepare the subsidy application paperwork so you only have to sign and mail it.
